Testing Nourish’ Feed-to-email Service
January 17th, 2008 by Martin
I’ve been using Feedblitz for my email subscribers, but I got annoyed when they insisted on spamming my readers with ads. I just read that 85% of the population won’t use RSS, so even though you’re a biased feedjunkie, you shouldn’t let everyone else down.
Now I’ve just found Nourish, which after a few spins around the block agrees with me very well. Not only is it easy on the eye (extremely well-designed user interface) but it has an admirable no-nonsense approach to delivering its email service.
A few highlight so far:
- Free service with discrete and minimal branding (now, don’t go and screw this up like Feedblitz did, please)
- No ads (so far)
- Email preview, with a test-feature so you can see exactly what your email receivers get
- The possibility to style your html (premium membership with fair prices: 15$/month/5000 emails).
- Finally, a very nice signup screen (unlike Feedblitz which looks like &%#€) to link to from your blog. Feel free to test it
