Bruce Sterling’s Forecast For The Next 10 Years: “Dark Euphoria” [#reboot11]

Below is the video of Bruce Sterling’s fantastic session at the Reboot 11 conference. It’s very satirical, grotesque even, and yet pretty thought provoking. I think it was the best presentation at the conference, and his 10 years forecast resonated well with my own sense of where we’re going: “Dark Euphoria”. He also introduces the wonderful concepts of “Favela Chic”, “Gothic High Tech” and talks about where we are headed. “The future is an old paradigm and will get out of use.”
